We are not a warehouse. We are not a middleman. We are a family that has farmed the land of Umadi, Sangli district, Maharashtra for generations — and NutraSattva is our way of bringing that harvest directly to your home.
Our Story
It started with kishmish.
Our family has been growing grapes and sun-drying them into kishmish in the vineyards of Umadi for years — the same way it has always been done. No shortcuts. No sulfites. No chemicals. Just sun, air, and patience.
For a long time, like most farmers, we sold our produce to middlemen at mandi prices — watching our hard work get repackaged and sold at 3x the cost in cities, with the customer having no idea where it came from or who grew it.
NutraSattva was born out of one simple frustration: why can't the person eating our kishmish know the farmer who grew it?
So we decided to bridge that gap ourselves.
Why "NutraSattva"?
Sattva (सत्त्व) in Sanskrit means purity, essence, and goodness — the highest quality of nature. Nutra for nutrition. Together, NutraSattva means the pure essence of nourishment — which is exactly what we promise in every pack we ship.
